Research

I'm working at Tilburg University as a Ph.D. student, as part of ILK research group.
Project Title: Algorithm development for Memory Models of Language
The project is about developing algorithms for feature selection and feature extraction for Machine Learning.
Well, that used to be the subject; nowadays I spend more time studying different aspects of different machine learning algorithms.
My research interests in a few words:
Machine learning algorithms: memory based learning, support vector machines, rule induction and maximum entropy.
Natural language tasks: Word Sense Disambiguation, Text Classification, Named Entity Recognition and Phrase Chunking.
