    Abstract This thesis discusses in detail the hypothesis of Prof. Luc Steels on the emergence of concepts and lexicon. The implementation of the robotic experiments are described and problems in the implementation are discussed. Experimental results are shown and discussed. Also some relations to Cognitive Science background is discussed.
